The new season has started. What's does that do with Ruurd Egtberts' Dutch Pro Team? Today was the team presentation of Dutch Pro Team, or DPT. Egtberts says: "Dutch Pro Team is going to make a fresh start with a new captain."
A new captain? After a few great seasons with Floyd Holmen, DPT has decided that Coos Merenga will be the new captain. "And I'll be beter than ever," says Merenga. "I'm training to become one of the best Dutch riders ever. Since I have the right age to become captain, I'll have to show it this season."
That sounds great, but DPT is now in the 6th division. According to Tacchini and Commesso it won't take long before they are racing in the 4th division. Commesso says:"The team spirit is beter than ever. We're going to kick ass!" Tacchini ends the team presentation with a great prospection:"We're going to have the best season in our lives."
